The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the results for RRB CWE V officer scale 1 exam. The Institute conducted the written exam in November and December. As many as 5539 candidates will be recruited for officer scale 1.

Selection process: There will be preliminary and main online exam for candidates applying for Officers Scale-I and Office Assistants (multipurpose). After clearing the prelim followed by the main exams, the candidates applied for Office Assistant (multipurpose) exam would be provisionally allotted to a RRB. The candidates of Officers Scale-I would be required to clear the interview before their selection.

How Scores of Candidates are Evaluated
The final scores of the candidates are calculated on the basis of TWSS Method. TWSS scores are calculated according as linear transformation method taking mean score = 25 and standard deviation = 5. The lot of candidates are in doubt in understanding the method of calculation. Let us understand this by following:
What is actual corrected score?The number of questions candidates attempted correctly minus negative marking (0.25 marks for question). For example Shyam attempted 25 questions in reasoning section out of which 4 question were wrong. His corrected score will be 21- 1 = 20.
What is equated score?The marks of the candidates in every slot and paper set is equated by IBPS as per difficulty level of the test. The level of the difficulty will be predecided by the marks obtained by the candidates in that question paper
