Going to appear for SSC CGL 2016 Exam ? Know How to download the CGL 2016 Admit card

SSC Admit cards will be available on Official Regional websites from 2nd week of August (Confirmed on 16th August) and can be downloaded using your Registration No. There is No provision to get Admit cards by post, as SSC had discontinued sending postal admit cards from this year

Expected Date: The most expected Date for Downloading of Admit Cards / Hall Tickets for CGL 2016 is from 2nd week of August (At least, Two weeks before the Exam Date ie 27th August, 2016 to 11th Sept, 2016)

Confirmed : Admit cards for Tier-1 of CGL 2016 Exam can be Downloaded from 16th august, 2016 from the respective Regional Websites. Detailed Process Explained below

Update : On 9th August , 2016,  SSC has released the Complete Schedule for availability of Admit cards. Downloading of Admit cards will start from 16th Aug, 2016 

Staff Selection Commission had already announced the Notification for CGL 2016 Exam. The online Registrations were scheduled to close on 24th March, 2016, but SSC had given as extension of One week for submitting the online application, and now the closing date to apply online is 30th March, 2016 . As per the Official SSC Calendar 2016 and CGL Notification, the exam is tentatively scheduled in May 2016 (on 8th and 22nd May). Now postponed to August, 2016  and those have successfully applied for the exam, can appear at their respective venues. 

It is important to note that to appear for SSC CGL 2016 Exam, you must have the Admit Card along with ID Proof. Your admit card has your Roll No. and this gives you a unique Identity with respect to your candidature in the CGL Exam.

It is only with the help of these two documents (Admit card & ID Proof) , that you can make your way into the Examination hall. 

It is worth mentioning here that Process for receiving the Admit cards for CGL 2016 are completely online now. From this year, SSC had discontinued the service of sending the Admit cards by Post. So, the only, way to get the Admit cards for CGL 2016, is to download it online from the respective regional SSC websites. There is No other modes/means of receiving the SSC CGL Admit card.

SSC CGL 2016 Admit Card Schedule Announced !!

On 9th August, 2016, SSC had released the schedule for availability of Admit cards for CGL Exam. It is worth mentioning here that CGL 2016 Exams are commencing from 27th august to 11th Sept, 2016.

Earlier, SSC had announced that downloading of Admit cards will start from 10th August, but now this schedule is modified and revised date of Downloading the Call letters is from 16th August, 2016

Here is the Date-wise Schedule of availability of Admit Cards 

12th August, 2016 : Details of Candidates viz Name, Address, Father's Name, Roll No.,  Registration No, Date and Shift of Exam, City of Examination Centre, will be available on SSC Regional Websites. However, the Specific Venue of Exam, will be indicated in Admit cards, that can be downloaded from 16th august and 27th August, 2016.

That means, your Admit cards will generated on 12th August, but you can download them only after 16th August. ie Viewing Facility will be available from 12th August, but downloading Facility will start from 16th August onwards

16th August, 2016 : Applicants, who have their CGL Tier-1 Exam from 27th August to 4th Sept, 2016 can download their Admit Cards from 16th august, 2016

27th August, 2016 : Moreover, applicants, who have their CGL Tier-1 Exams from 6th august to 11th Sept, they can download their Admit cards from 27th August

Note: There is No Exam on 5th Sept, 2016 (Monday).
